Already purchased a license? Download Geneious Basic below and enter your license information in to the program to enable Geneious Pro. Geneious licenses include up to 12 months of free upgrades. If you own a perpetual license and are unsure if you are eligible to upgrade to this version, please contact us (support@biomatters.com) with your license information and we'll check before you install this upgrade.
Installation Instructions
Windows: Download the windows installer from above, run it and then follow the on screen instructions. Mac OS X: Download the Macintosh dmg file, double-click it to mount the disk image then drag Geneious to your Applications folder or other desired location. (Note: you may need run Software Update to install the latest Java – or download it using the link below.)
Linux: Download the .sh install script above and run it using the command:
# sh Geneious_unix_(version)_with_jre.sh
Upgrade Instructions
To upgrade from a previous version of Geneious, download the installer for your operating system then install the new version to the same location that Geneious was previously installed. Your existing data will automatically be upgraded to the new data format and loaded in to Geneious.
