Biomatters’ CSO and Founder Wins the 2007 Hamilton Memorial Prize for Science

Dr. Alexei Drummond, Chief Scientific Officer and Founder of Biomatters has been awarded the 2007 Hamilton Memorial Prize for significant contribution to computational modeling by the Royal Society of New Zealand.
Dr. Drummond, the “Father of Geneious,” has been recognized for his work in population genetics, phylogeography and phylogenetics. The Hamilton Memorial Prize has been awarded to researchers involved in ‘pure science’ since the early 1900s, and is an extremely prestigious honor.
