July 1st-3rd 2009 marks the largest Biotech Conference event in Asia. The 8th International Bio Forum & Bio Expo Japan is where life science professionals will gather to showcase their technology. There are opportunities aplenty with an expected 700 exhibitors and 23,000 attendees at this year’s event. The attendees are largely the decision makers of the bio industry gathering from worldwide to seek new license customers, the latest equipment, the most advanced technologies and the latest issues of Asian Bio-pharma trends.
Biomatters, will, for the first time, aim to snap up some of the available business at Bio Expo Japan by sending their market development manager, Peter Meintjes and their Japanese market consultant, Susumu Nakagawa, to attend numerous business meetings, meet existing Geneious customers at Tokyo University, the Forestry and Fisheries Research Council and Gifu University, and engage with potential partners and customers.
This is an exciting endeavor for Geneious, because the potential in the Japanese market is enormous. With a planned launch in the future of a Japanese version of the website to facilitate this move, Biomatters is confident that Geneious is a product that can penetrate the Japanese market as Geneious continues to evolve with the release of the latest version, Geneious 4.7, expected shortly – watch this space.
