New Teaching Tutorials for Geneious Pro 4.5!

With the release of Geneious 4.5, Dr Shane Sturrock has recently written two tutorials to introduce the powerful new capabilities of the revamped Sequence Search Interface, and the 3D Structure Viewer. The sequence searching capabilities now include the ability to easily perform batch searches and returned alignments can now be used for further analyses such as taking BLAST hits and generating a multiple alignment in a few simple actions.
With 3D structures, you can now select individual elements from chains, residues and right down to individual atoms using the new structure tree and highlight them using many different visualization settings simply and quickly.
These new tutorials can be found on the Geneious Education page along with previously released tutorials. Don't forget that Geneious also includes a comprehensive built in tutorial and help system, along with a full printable user manual.
